S Pen, 6.7-inch FHD+ display and more: 5 features that make Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite better than OnePlus 7T
The Galaxy Note10 Lite’s key USP is the S Pen, which Samsung claims is the perfect tool for users looking to seamlessly transition between work and life.
HIGHLIGHTS
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been launched at Rs 38,999
The smartphone brings the S Pen and a massive 4500mAh battery
It also brings a 6.7-inch FHD+ display
After first showing it off at the Consumer Electronics Show 2020 in Las Vegas, Samsung finally brought the Galaxy Note 10 Lite to India earlier in the year. As opposed to the tech show, where Samsung only took the lid of the key details about the smartphone but refrained from revealing any pricing details, the India launch also saw the device’s price being revealed for the first time.
The Galaxy Note10 Lite’s key USP is the S Pen, which Samsung claims is the perfect tool for users looking to seamlessly transition between work and life. The phone brings with itself a number of interesting features, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-O display.
Here are five features that make it a better buy than the OnePlus 7T.
Massive bezel-less display
One of the most interesting things about the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is the fact that it comes with a massive display. The Galaxy Note10 Lite offers a wide 6.7-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-O display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, running at a maximum Full HD+ resolution.
The screen also flaunts very little in terms of bezels, and also uses a single punch-hole Infinity-O display to enhance user experience.
Powerful internals
While it’s true that the OnePlus 7T is no slouch when it comes to internals, it cannot also be ignored that the Note 10
Impressive cameras
In terms of the optics, the smartphone comes with a triple camera set-up which includes a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide lens; a 12-megapixel f/1.7 wide-angle lens with dual-pixel technology and OIS; and a 12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens (also with OIS). There’s also a big 32-megapixel lens at the front with an F2.2 aperture.
Big battery and Super Fast charging
The batteries are also another defining factor of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The phone gets one of the biggest battery packs on a flagship Samsung to date, with the lights on the device being kept on by a massive 4500mAh pack capable of Super Fast charging tech.
Now Samsung ships the phone with a 25W charger in the box, which is fast enough to juice up the phone anyway. However, the device can support charging speeds up to 45W, thereby making it one of the best in the business.
S Pen for the win
The biggest USP of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is that it comes with an S-Pen. Interestingly, this is the same Bluetooth-enabled stylus from Samsung that has been seen on the expensive Note 10 flagship.
The S-Pen allows users to personalise photos and videos with dynamic drawings, effects and animations and instantly converts handwritten notes to digital text. The Air Command feature of the S Pen allows users to click pictures, navigate through presentations and even edit videos with a simple click.
poco x2
This is the Poco X2, to come with dual selfie cameras and MIUI 11
The Poco X2 has been spotted in the wild, flaunting its Redmi K30 credentials. The X2 will come with a similar dual selfie camera setup and MIUI 11.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Poco X2 has been leaked on the web, showing its front.
The X2 appears to have the same display as the Redmi K30 4G from China.
Poco will rely on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 for the X2.
It has been a while since the Poco X2 has been officially confirmed by Poco ever since it detached from Xiaomi a few weeks ago. Rumours have been suggesting that the Poco X2 is essentially rebadged Redmi K30 4G from China and so far, the official reveals have been pointing towards that. Leaks have also mentioned the same internals as the Redmi K30. However, for the first time, the Poco X2 has been spotted in the real world and it looks similar to the Redmi K30.
A prototype device bearing the Poco branding has been spotted by TechDroider and from what it seems, it is the upcoming Poco X2 that's launching in India on February 4. The images only show the front of the device but that's enough to give us a lot of information about the device. For once, we know how the display will look and whether the cameras will be similar to ones found on the Redmi K30. It seems that the answer is a big 'yes' to all these queries.
The authenticity of these pictures is still highly doubtful but given the content we have, it seems that it is most likely to be true. The alleged Poco device looks similar to the Redmi K30 from China from the front. The phone appears to have the same display as the K30 with narrow bezels and as Poco has confirmed the 120Hz refresh rate screen officially, it seems that

HIGHLIGHTS
Apple has launched the HomePod in India at Rs 19,900.
The HomePod comes in Space Grey and White colours variants.
The HomePod only works with iPhones and iPads, and can stream from Apple Music.
It has been a while since the HomePod smart speaker from Apple came out and it has been selling in limited markets across the world. Apple has, however, launched the HomePod in India now and it is quietly been added to the list of products the company sells in India. The HomePod is still not available for purchase but Apple has revealed the price. The good part is that the HomePod in India is much cheaper than the international versions.
Apple lists the HomePod in India at a price of Rs 19,900 and so far, it's only showing up on the Apple website. Neither Amazon or Flipkart have listed the device on their portals yet and hence, it seems that the HomePod could be an offline exclusive product similar to the latest iPod Touch. The HomePod is available in two colour variants - Space Grey and White.
The basic features of the HomePod remain unchanged for India. Apple has released an update to iOS 13 and iPadOS devices that brings in support for Indian English Siri voices for HomePod. The HomePod works within the Apple ecosystem of devices and hence, there are some basic requirements you need to have before you invest in a new HomePod smart speaker.
Apple says that you need to have at least an iPhone 6S, iPhone SE and newer iPhone device to use the HomePod. For iPad owners, they need to have the iPad Pro, iPad 5th Generation, iPad Air 2 or later, and iPad Mini 4 or later with iPadOS. A Wi-Fi internet connectivity is an absolute necessity whereas Apple also mandates an active subscription to Apple Music for full music functionality.

If you happen to be in the Apple ecosystem, the HomePod brings in some unique smart features to help you with your everyday tasks at home. The 2.5kg speaker consists of an elaborate list of hardware inside. Apple has built-in a 'high-excursion woofer with a custom amplifier, seven horn-loaded tweeters with custom amplifiers, six microphone array for far-field Siri and internal mics for automatic bass correction. It can even perform direct and ambient audio beamforming as well as transparent studio-level dynamic processing. One can also pair two HomePods for a stereo effect.
The HomePod supports all major audio formats and iPhone users can even AirPlay their content to the speaker. Siri is available as the virtual assistant to answer all questions, control smart appliances compatible with Apple HomeKit as well as play music. iPhone users transfer their music or calls to the HomePod by simply holding the phone near the speaker for a while. A touch surface on the top also accepts tap-based audio playback as well as volume controls.
